It was an amazing March day for a wedding when we met with Amy and Matthew to help them celebrate their special occasion. The lovely couple were surrounded with love and always had an ear to ear grin which made capturing their wedding photography a dream.

Dreamlife Photos and Videos (Aukland) greeted bride and groom separately on the morning of their big celebration. Matthew and his groomsmen were a delight to photograph as they shared a drink and a laugh before leaving for the service. Amy was gracious enough to let us catch a sneak peek of her look which made for some incredible bridal photos. We especially loved the photo of the bride as her parents joyously embraced her.

When Amy was almost ready, we left for Butterfly Creek where the ceremony and reception were to be held. The venue had prepared a lovely room for the service which was complete with satin fabrics and a water front view. The elegant décor and lighting made capturing wedding photography a treat for the wedding photographer. We particularly enjoyed the photo of the bride and her father as he proudly smiled at her before giving her away. Of course, the couple’s first kiss was a magical shot to capture as well!

As the service wrapped up we met with everyone outside to capture one more photo of the couple kissing in front of their guests whom cheered them on. We then took the newlyweds and their wedding party to capture a few more glamour shots before the party began. Dreamlife really had a blast as the group posed in front of the classic cars. The photo of the ladies looking through the rear view widow was absolutely priceless!

Dreamlife didn’t want to keep the couple from their guests for too long though, so we wrapped up and met back with everyone at the reception. The flowing lights behind the wedding party made capturing photos of man and wife a joy! We also favored the photos of Amy and Matthew as they cut into their stunning wedding cake. We’re certain these two love birds will have amazing memories of their special day.
