Rachel and Aidan couldn’t have picked a better day in October to join hands in marriage. We at Dreamlife Photos and Video (Aukland) were impressed with all of the beautiful photo opportunities the weather, couple and company provided us.

Dreamlife started the day off by capturing a few photos of bride and groom before the ceremony began. As the groom’s side primped and laughed, we managed to snap some great shots of Aidan posing with the guys and comparing his ring with his bride to be’s. Things were a bit more tranquil on the bride’s side as Rachel posed for some great bridal photos while her make up and hair were completed.

We met the bride outside in her horse drawn carriage as she prepared to make her way to the St. Andrews Church where the ceremony was held. The church provided an adorable location for the wedding photography and we couldn’t wait to see how cute the interior was! Once inside we set up just in time for the bride to make her way down the aisle. There were lots of great wedding photos of Rachel and Aidan, but our favorites would have to be the bride and groom kissing in front of their guests after their marriage certificate was signed!

When the ceremony was over we were met with a little rain, which made our wedding photography even better. The abundance of umbrellas and smiles made the photographs unique and lively. We especially loved the photos we managed to capture after the rain stopped. Our favorite is of the couple and their bridal party standing underneath a full and vibrant rainbow! Of course, the wedding photography of the bride and groom with the post-rain sky were beautiful enough to melt your heart.
