Dreamlife Photos and Videos (Auckland) had an amazing time at the Red Barn Matamata with Rachel and Chris for their lovely March wedding. The couple were so filled with joy that capturing their wedding photography was a walk in the park!

We started our day off with Rachel in her impressive and quaint dressing room. The lovely bride allowed us to capture bridal photos as her makeup artist applied her makeup with ease. When she was all dressed and ready to go we couldn’t resist capturing a few photos as she chatted with her loving family and eagerly awaited the big moment.

When it was time for the ceremony we followed the bride to the chapel where we were taken aback by the stunning woodwork and natural lighting. As the bride began her walk down the aisle with her overjoyed mother escorting her we couldn’t help but snap away at the beauty in the moment. The room was filled with smiles as the lovebirds said their vow and shared their first kiss. Dreamlife photos couldn’t resist shooting away at such a perfect moment as the chapel framed the kiss perfectly.

With the marriage official we took the newlyweds out for a brief photo shoot on the property to help make their wedding photography even more fun. There were a lot of lovely locations to choose from, but we especially enjoyed the fun wedding photos of the couple posing on the tractor. The landscape was a dream for any wedding photographer to work with though, so we had to help ourselves to several different images in front of the rustic farmland and lovely barn.

After the photo shoot we reunited with the guests to enjoy a night filled with celebration. The couple were serenaded with impressive speeches that brought many tears and laughs! Dreamlife especially loved the cutting of the cake which was designed with a touch of classic beauty and country style! With all of the smiling faces and laughter, we’re sure everyone will be talking about the couple’s special day for years to come!
