Wedding photography allows you a glimpse into the private world of hundreds of young couples as they embark on a new life together. The fun thing is watching, and being a part of, how they collaborate together to create a perfect symphony for their day around their individual ideas of what will make the day memorable.

Perhaps it is my love of all things Audrey Hepburn and certainly that era of timeless elegance but I simply fell in love with Monika & David’s vision for their wedding day. From Monika’s princess gown and her beautiful bridesmaids decked out in gorgeous lavender dresses and the groom and his attendants looking ever so dapper in their three piece suits set against the amazing backdrop of St Johns Cathedral in Melbourne it was destined to be an ideal day with the temperamental Melbourne weather promising a clear and perfect day for once.

I was further enthralled as David & his groomsmen did their own rendition of Fred Astaire dancing across the lawn and standing with their matching umbrellas on the docks guaranteeing some priceless photos.

Having their wedding reception at the scenic Leonda By The Yarra simply capped off an amazing day for capturing those special memories of the couple on their most magical day.
