March couldn’t have been a more perfect time for Sarah and Jesse to join hands in matrimony. Dreamlife Photos and Videos (Auckland) was excited to spend some time with the happy couple as we captured their wedding photography.

Dreamlife briefly met up with Jesse and his groomsmen as they had a beer on the balcony while waiting for the action to begin. Afterwards we stopped by to see Sarah who seemed to be having a blast as she prepared to look unforgettable for her husband to be. With her bridesmaids and family to help with the process everything went smoothly so we were able to step in and capture a few adorable bridal photos.

We left the couple to set up for the ceremony which was held at the Settlers Estate in Waimauku. This venue offered lots of beautiful land for wedding photography so we couldn’t help but feel inspired. Dreamlife managed to snag a few funny photos of some of the groomsmen holding up signs warning Jesse it was his last chance to run! We really had a blast working with the couple’s sense of humour!

As the hours passed it inched closer and closer to the ceremony. The couple reunited under a lovely gazebo where they said their vows and kissed the first kiss of married life. We loved grabbing photos of the guests as well as the couple surrounded by such amazing palm and willow trees amongst the other spectacular foliage.

When the ceremony was complete we left with the entire wedding party to snag a few extra photos of the big day. The property had a lot of photo opportunities for us to play around with, so we made sure to rise to the occasion. Dreamlife particularly loved the photo of the groomsmen holding up Sarah so she could lean in for a kiss with her new husband. We also loved all of the great photos with the go-carts. However, we were really inspired by the helicopters and have to say the photo of the lovebirds kissing next to one is our favorite!

After we’d wrapped up with the photos we left for reception where the guests were eagerly awaiting the arrival of the newlyweds. The lighting was absolutely spectacular in the reception hall which made it a breeze to capture candid photos of everyone. We really loved the photo of man and wife looking back at us as they sat in their chairs of honor! We hope their smiles will forever last as they remember their special day.
