March was the perfect month for Alyssa and Scott’s outdoor wedding. The couple were over joyed to share their experience with those they love which made it a lot of fun for Dreamlife Photos and Videos (Auckland) to capture their wedding photography.

We met bride and groom at the Red Barn Matamata where the wedding and reception was to be held. Before the big event we wanted to make sure to capture a few photos of Alyssa and Scott before they were united as one. Scott was busy getting ready with his groomsmen as they worked on their amazing purple ties and vests. Before we left to check in with Alyssa we caught an amazing photo of the guys as they fist bumped with the biggest grins.

Alyssa’s dressing area was very relaxed and quiet. Dreamlife couldn’t wait to get a picture of her dress next to the wide windows! The dazzling blue skies were the perfect way to complement the stunning design of the dreamy dress. We also really loved the photo of Alyssa as she enjoyed the view from her room while sipping on a glass of wine. This photo definitely set the mood for a day that was going to be filled with beauty.

When bride and groom were ready we left for the small area where the couple were to be wed. The venue did a great job of creating a quaint space that would complement their loving environment. Dreamlife was really impressed with the perfect moment where the father of the bride held out his hand to shake the groom’s hand. The photos of the couple as they grinned from ear to ear while saying their vows were also amazing to capture.

Once the excitement was over we snagged man and wife to pack a little more wedding photography into the day. We really enjoying capturing the group in front of the classic car which seemed to peak the lovebird’s’ interests! Our favorite group shot would have to be the wedding party posing in mud boots as they laughed and showed how much fun they were having. Of course, the romantic photo of Alyssa and Scott snuggling up as the setting sun shined behind them is a winner without a doubt!

The photo shoot was a lot of fun, but it was time to meet up with the rest of the guests to celebrate the union at the reception. The rustic barn feel was such a perfect vibe for the celebration and really made the cow inspired wedding cake stand out. Dreamlife adored capturing the newlywed’s reaction to speeches as well as the exciting dancing. We’re sure everyone will have fond memories of this night to share!
