I believe the saying is “a picture paints a thousand words”. This may well be true but sometimes a thousand words aren’t needed. After the terrific time I had photographing Alisa and Clint’s wedding I hope you will agree that perhaps only three words are needed here … fun, fun, fun!

This slightly madcap couple signalled their intentions right from the off that their wedding day was to be as informal and as light hearted as possible. The ceremony was to be the only part of the day that would hold a serious note. The gorgeous beach setting was the perfect backdrop for the vows and the proceedings were eagerly watched over by a huge throng of loved ones, friends and well wishers. Even with the wonders of modern digital technology, getting the group in so you could still see the faces clearly was rather a challenge.

I can’t remember a shoot where I smiled so much – if Alisa and Clint’s future life is as happy as their wedding day, the outlook is indeed very bright. The only argument will ever be who rides on the back seat of the tandem. I won’t put in a cliché about the cycle of life, but merely state that I and everyone at Dreamlife Photography were thrilled with being selected by this delightful couple and we all wish them a very happy marriage.
