At Dreamlife we believe getting to know our subjects gives us an advantage when it comes to producing pictures we know you’ll be happy with and that capture the real you. It was a privilege to photograph Alison and Peter’s engagement and a great opportunity to get to understand a bit about this delightful couple before their marriage, an event at which Dreamlife would also be responsible for the pictures. The love Alison and Peter have for each other is obvious and the beautiful surroundings which so often take over as the main subject of photographs, on this occasion, provided the perfect tableau to capture some truly natural moments of fun and enjoyment of each other.

Alison and Peter are very comfortable in their own company and anyone looking at these photos will never guess the guys aren’t just out enjoying a lovely park with friends taking some memento snapshots throughout the day. We particularly like the picnic shot where they are both completely lacking any signs of self consciousness. This would make a great advert still shot for a French cheese! Let’s hope the light on the wedding day is as good as during the engagement shoot and we can create as beautiful a tableau as the one here.
