Victor Hugo once wrote “music expresses that which cannot be put into words but cannot remain silent.” From the start it was obvious that both Amy and Ben were passionate about music and about each other. It was simple to capture the joy and easiness that they felt in each other’s presence. These gorgeous engagement photos were taken in the great outdoors in stunning Clear Mountain.

Amy and Ben were great fun to work with and their love for music and the outdoors shows in their lovely engagement photography shoot. Their eyes are sparkling as they look at each other thinking of the life they are going to share. Getting photographs of them looking candidly happy was surprisingly simple because they were quick to laughter and being around them created an environment of familiarity and peacefulness.

You can tell that these happy husband and wife to be are going to make a very happy family. Although some photos were posed, the ones in which the in between moments were captured, like when Amy is looking right into Ben’s eyes as they laugh with each surrounded by the sun and the grass, are the ones that show the essence of this couple.
