Catherine and Damien

It is such a cliché to call the bride and groom a beautiful couple but when you see the radiant smiles of Catherine and Damien it’s hard to argue with that adjective. As a wedding photographer I get to see many a gorgeous bride in a gorgeous dress and I’m no fashion expert but it Catherine’s chosen dress was a source of my admiration and it was a pleasure to take pictures of something unusual but so well chosen. The individual dress was really indicative of Catherine and Damien’s well crafted, intimate ceremony.

Eschewing the usual mass wedding crowd, Catherine and Damien gathered a small group of nearest and dearest at Roma Street Parklands which is one of Brisbane’s gorgeous scenic spots ideal for occasion photographs. I just couldn’t resist those trees and Catherine and Damien didn’t need much encouragement either. The Quay West Hotel was also in keeping with the cosy romantic feel to the occasion and was the ideal setting for the reception. It was hard to tell which couple had the biggest smiles; the cutesy fondant bride and groom on the cake or Catherine and Damien.
