Dreamlife Photos and Videos (Auckland) couldn’t get over all of the fun we had at Cherie and Alexander’s special occasion. The two lovebirds decided to hold their event at the Red Barn Matamata which opened up many wedding photography options for the wedding photographer.

The outdoor ceremony couldn’t have been more breathtaking thanks to the green foliage and smiling faces. Dreamlife really loved capturing the photo of the Cherie as her father walked her to her groom with the biggest smile on his face. As the couple said their vows beneath a lovely tree people couldn’t help but be in awe of the mesmerizing service. We finished off the session of the ceremony with a quick photo of the couple, their wedding party and all of the guests.

After Cherie and Alexander were pronounced man and wife we took them out for a few more bridal photos. The lovely hillside proved to make the perfect background for all of our images, which inspired the wedding photographer immensely. We love the photo of the newlyweds as they stood in the roadway completely framed by lush green trees. Of course, we couldn’t resist getting a few photos of the wedding party in front of their car selection. The photo of bride and groom in front of the purple car really makes a bold statement. Dreamlife also made sure to get some amazing photos of the groom and his groomsmen posing in the rustic barn while the bride and her bridesmaids posed on a lovely swing set. The photo of Cherie and Alexander kissing in front of the barn window will really steal your heart though!

As the photo shoot wrapped up we noticed it was time to make our way back for the reception. We couldn’t get over how gorgeous the couple’s yellow floral wedding cake was. As the newlyweds cut into it there was so much applause we could feel the love surrounding them. The night was complete with speeches and good cheer shared by all!
