Hayley and Reuben chose a fine April day to host their wedding celebration at the Old Forest School. Dreamlife Photos and Videos (Auckland) were pleased to be present for the couple’s unique wedding photography!

Dreamlife couldn’t wait to spend some time in the rich foliage as the couple prepared to begin their wedding. The setup was absolutely stunning with the open door wedding arch that showed off the beautiful forested area in the background. With all of the fresh air, burst of amazing natural light and the ear to ear grins from bride and groom, it was a brilliant moment to be a wedding photographer.

After the ceremony we made sure to take advantage of the natural landscaping around us for the couple’s photo session. Dreamlife was quite fond of the beautiful bridal photos of Hayley as she lay on the woodland floor. There were a lot of breathtaking moments during the photo shoot, particularly the moment where man and wife looked intently into one another’s eyes while sitting on a tree branch. We also adored the photo of the couple as Reuben clasped an axe in front of a pile of wood.

Just when we thought we couldn’t have any more fun with the newlyweds it was time for the reception. The couple hosted the party outdoors with vintage furniture in a rustic setting. Dreamlife loved how the mixed seating created such an amazing vibe around the two large dining tables. We also loved the string lighting which provided comfort as the guests enjoyed the setting sun. Of course, the weathered barn created a perfect element and created a terrific place to present the lovely classic wedding cake.
